Course overview

A Linux systems administration course covering daily operations, services and hardening. Everything is done from the command line on RHEL-family and Debian-family systems: users and permissions, package and service management, storage, networking, logging, backups, and shell automation.

Learners build and harden a working server stack with monitoring and scheduled backups.

Who it is for
  • System administrators
  • Cloud and DevOps engineers
  • Support engineers
  • Developers running their own servers
Prerequisites
Basic computer knowledge and comfort with a terminal.
How it runs
Learn → Practise → Build → Experience → Demonstrate, ending in a capstone. Delivered by practitioners from the engineering bench, in Madurai, Coimbatore and online.
Final project
Hardened Server with Backups
