Course overview

A PostgreSQL course covering advanced SQL, data types, extensions and server operations. The course uses PostgreSQL as it is meant to be used: strong constraints, rich types, JSONB where appropriate, CTEs and window functions, plus operational reality autovacuum, bloat, index types and replication.

Learners build a schema with constraints, tune a query workload and configure streaming replication.

Who it is for
  • Backend developers
  • Data engineers
  • Database administrators
  • Analysts writing advanced SQL
Prerequisites
Basic SQL knowledge.
How it runs
Learn → Practise → Build → Experience → Demonstrate, ending in a capstone. Delivered by practitioners from the engineering bench, in Madurai, Coimbatore and online.
Final project
Tuned, Replicated PostgreSQL Setup

Programme sheet

The printed sheet carries the full module breakdown, labs, project work and certification path. Fees, dates and formats for the next intake are confirmed by the education team on enquiry.
